When I said YOU, it is actually not only about you.
I meant, WE, in ONE.
But we seem never to be IN ONE PIECE.
we are baroque apples,
with grotesque look,
still, pure and sincere heart.
Her work incorporates painting, illustration, comic art, 3D and installation. She also works as a designer, specialising in graphic, concept and set design. Most of her early works investigate Comparative mythology and collective unconsciousness while cybermythology, the one big myth and ‘a type of speech’ online as she defined in her paper, is added to her recent research. She is creating her original comic ‘EKTENE‘ series published in U17 and the animation shown above is about this story.
‘Cybermythology as today’s mythology not only pertains to the one big myth in cyberspace, but also represents ‘a type of speech’ there, which means that everybody is free to speak however nobody can be heard. A sign as well as the adherence to cybernetics, where the rule came from the widespread and mass-produced freedom because no idea nor ideology is more significant. Artists as pioneers of cyber-myth tellers bring the puzzle in front of the public, exhibiting the aura of machine, touching them on the raw then piquing their impulse of thinking.’
